Geocache Description:

Cache is a small brown container (the size of a pop-can), with small trinkets for trade.

The sight that the cache is hidden at is just outside of Ahmeek and Alloeuz on US 41.  There is a pull-out at the location.

The cache is an easy park and grab as you enter Keweenaw County at the County Line.  Pull over, take a look, grab a cache and look at the view ahead of you.

As you look at the object, take note of Keweenaw and you will notice that the Keweenaw Peninsula, from Houghton to the tip is actually an Island with Lake Superior around it.  To get to this locale you will have driven across the Portage Lift Bridge which is the life line to anybody living in the Keweenaw.  Despite Keweenaw County begining at this spot and Northern Houghton County below locals refer to this entire area as the Keweenaw, mostly because it is referred to as the Keweenaw Peninsula because Keweenaw County is the only whole county on the peninsula/ island.

There are many things to do here I might suggest driving up or down on US 41 and following Lake Superior through Eagle Harbor and Eagle River when traveling the opposite direction.

*Please hide cache as found as it can be easily seen if not covered completely*
