Xotikospilio Traditional Cache

Xotikospilio (i.e. the cave of elfs) is on the west coast on the way from Falassarna and Elafonisis. The small chapel that is built in the cave.
There is an asphalt road from Kambos or Stomio to the parking location
The Good Friday of 1824 here took place a big massacer to hidden women and children from the Turks.
To remember that fact this sign (see picture) was placed here from the Culture Society of Amigdalokefali at 27/08/1988.
The cave is now a church for Michail Archangelos.
