[Swe] Den här kyrkan besöker vi ofta. Här ligger några av mina släktingar begravda i den fina minneslunden.
Lite fakta från WikiPedia:
"By kyrka hör till Säffle församling i Säffle kommun och ligger vid Byälvens mynning i Vänern cirka 3 km söder om Säffle.
Enligt uppgift fanns en kyrka i By socken redan 1326. Den kom att byggas till 1639. Ytterligare tillbyggnader gjordes 1349 då ett klocktorn byggdes.
Strax norr om den medeltida kyrkan uppfördes nuvarande kyrka av sten mellan 1766-1779 efter ritningar av Sven Hertz. Fjärde söndagen efter trefaldighet 1779 invigdes kyrkan.
Långhuset är rektangulärt med ett tresidigt avslutat korparti. En sakristia finns vidbyggd i öster. Ett torn i väster byggdes till 1784. Kyrkan har ingångar i väster och mitt på långhusets sydsida.
Triumfkrucifixet är från 1200-talet och härrör från den gamla medeltida kyrkan."

"By Church belongs to the Säffle parish and is located at the outfall of Byälven into Vänern, about 3 miles south of Säffle.
Reportedly, there was a church in the Village parish already in 1326. Further extensions were made in 1349 when a bell tower was built and also in 1639.
The present curch was designed by Sven Hertz and was build 1766-1779, just north of where the medieval church used to stand. The present church was inaugurated the fourth sunday after "Trefaldighet" in 1779.
Triumph crucifix is from the thirteenth century and derives from the ancient medieval church. "
