Geocache Description:

This is our first cache and we have placed it here as over the years, we have travelled up and down this road too many times to count. The cache was a present from our daughter Fiona, hence the name.

There are several large ponds around the area which were probably gravel pits as the word Delph is from an Olde English word for mining or quarrying. These ponds can also be quite deep so if you bring children with you, please keep an eye on them.

The cache is a small clip lock box in a camo bag. Please replace where found and covered with leaves etc.

There is room for small TB’s. When placed, the cache contained a logbook, pencil and sharpener (please leave the pencil & sharpener in the box) as well as small swaps and a FTF badge.

Please also be aware that this area is part of a Site of Special Scientific Interest. You are asked not to disturb the environment or any wildlife un-necessarily and please practice CITO, (Cache In, Trash Out). This cache is placed with the permission of the ARC Trust.
