Geocache Description:

This is a great road for biking, although now there are a lot of big trucks, but early morning is a lot of fun along the lakes, all the way to Kamloops.

This is a fine example of the local grasslands. The historic Guichon Ranch is back towards Merritt and the 101 Ranch is in the hills above the highway. There was a gold mine not far from here many years ago. This can be a very restful place, especially in the Fall when the traffic slows down. If you are approaching from Merritt the pullout parking area is on your right.
