The first requirement is to find and log a cache that was released PUBLISHED that day can be found on the bottom of the page as the first log entry But if you find one on the day it was placed I will also except that. the day you signed up as a member on Geocaching.com Not just the first one you found those don't always happen on the same day besides it would be impossible to verify. One exception to the rule is if you started back in 2000. There may not be any caches still active they just didn't released everyday like the do now. So finding one in the same month will qualify. Or if you started 2001 finding a cache within one week of your start date will also be acceptable.
Using my profile page below as an example I would need to find a cache on February 13, 2010

The cache must be of a type that you physically go out and find. Example: Traditional, Multi, Unknown/Mystery. Caches that don't apply are: Virtuals, Event, Locationless ect. you must be able to sign a log sheet
The best way to submit a qualifying cache is to E- Mail me through the Geocaching web site. Just include the GC number and cache name. A link to your home page will automatically be attached.
