The Goulbourn Forced Road dates back to the 1820s.  This section of the road was retired in 2010.  If one could follow the original route of the forced road, this cache is located 3.6 miles from the Goulbourn town line at Maple Grove Road and McCurdy Drive.

As along many rural roads in high summer, expect to see wild parsnip (poison) in bloom.
