Crafers West real History (according to Mr Tardis):
After the freeway made the division between Crafers West and Crafers (East) there was much rivalry between the east side and west side long before this became fashionable in Los Angeles gansta culture.
The eastside made fun of the westside ice hokey team and called them the Wafers (short for West Crafers). Rather than being humiliated, the westerners embraced their new name and became the Wafers Crest Ice Hockey team.
