Leave No Trace
The cache has been placed in line with the
Leave No Trace principles. You will have to stand on grass but that should be the extent of the disturbance to the environment of the forest.
Littlewood Forest Park
This is a small forest located near Slane and is managed by
Coillte. There is a circular walk of about 1500m. Information points are placed at regular intervals around the walk. There is space for about 20 cars at the cache coordinates.
The Cache
The cache is a non traditional type, with room for the log and nothing else. It is held firmly in place and will require you to push to release before pulling. Without the first, the second will merely detatch the only part of the cache vissible to you. The GPS accuracy was poor when placing the cache but the cache name should mean the GPS is irrelevant in this search.
