This cache is on the newly developed 2.5 kilometre extension of the Hutt River Trail.
The track is suitable for walking or cycling, and continues south to the confluence of the Whakatiki Stream and the Hutt River.
The track itself changes from flat trail running beside horse paddocks and fields to undulating through pleasant low-level native bush.
The cache is a 200ml camouflaged sistema, and at time of placing it contained a logbook, pencil & small FTF prize.
Please NOTE that you must sign the log book for each individual cacher, Finds logged not corresponding with the logbook may be deleted. Please take some time before leaving to ensure that the cache is re-hidden exactly as you found it.
Keep an eye out for muggles ... they can turn up unexpectedly from either direction anytime at GZ.
