Geocache Description:

CONTAINER TYPE: Pill Bottle

Welcome to the Team Trunk Monkey Turnpike - "TTMT"
This series of caches runs along this stretch of 4-lane road, which features a wide paved shoulder along it's entire course. These caches will all be on the South / East side of the road. There will be caches of several different sizes and types, and the hiding spots will vary in difficulty and terrain, as the locations allow. As such, several of these caches will have you walking through tall grass & looking through vegetation. During the "tick season" it is highly recommended to use a quality insect repellent, and as always if it is sunny out, use a good sunblock too.

Gorilla Boss of Gotham City

George Dyke is a mobster who was executed in a gas chamber at Gotham City Prison on a rainy evening. However, his brain is removed from his body by his henchman under his orders. George's brain ends up transplanted into the body of a towering gorilla by a disgraced surgeon named Doc Willard. The Gorilla Boss establishes a crime spree in Gotham and fights Batman twice.

Sinestro later steals Gorilla Boss' cerebellum, expands it to planet-size, and used it as a power source. This unnatural abomination is destroyed by Superman.[1]

Gorilla Boss's brain is later returned to his gorilla body. He then gets used as a pawn by Gorilla Grodd.

Powers and abilities:
Gorilla Boss has enhanced super-strength and endurance. Though Gorilla Boss can't speak, he can communicate with his henchmen using a pen and paper.

Television:
Gorilla Boss appears in the Batman: The Brave and the Bold episode "Gorillas in our Midst!" voiced by Diedrich Bader. He alongside Gorilla Grodd and Monsieur Mallah team up as G.A.S.P. (short for Gorillas and Apes Seizing Power) to replace Gotham City's population with gorillas. Gorilla Boss is defeated by B'wana Beast and Vixen (whom he taunts mercilessly because she is not as strong as he).

Miscellaneous:
Gorilla Boss appears in The Batman Adventures (a spin-off comic book series of Batman: The Animated Series). He was part of Black Mask's organization alongside The Phantasm, Bronze Tiger, Sportsmaster, and Black Spider before being defeated by Batman.
