The cache is placed with permission of the park’s owners, with a request that the vegetation not be disturbed. The cache is not placed in any flower beds and you will not need to go through any landscaping to get to it. Please respect the owner’s wishes and leave this beautiful little park intact for others to enjoy.
This cache is located in a lovely little park hidden in the middle of Meadville. I discovered it with help from some fellow employees who were getting interested in caching. The building and park are both owned by the Meadville Public Library, and it is a charming spot to spend some time catching up on reading.
The Crawford County Historical Society is located here in the Helene Barco-Duratz Cultural Center and contains many resources for historical and genealogical research. They are open afternoons through the week and all day Saturday. The United Way also shares space in the same building.
