supay: Dear Geocaching Community,
It is with a very heavy heart that I am writing this log, but after many wonderful years and 248 Favorite Points, the time has come to step away from this cache.
The church property where the cache resides is currently up for sale. Additionally, with the high volume of traffic this cache receives, I want to be entirely respectful of the nearby property owners and the young children living close by. While the owners have never complained, the kind aunt who originally granted me permission many years ago is no longer the sole point of contact, and circumstances have simply changed.
As a semi-responsible cache owner, I believe it is best to step away before any issues arise.
Thank you to everyone who traveled from near and far to attempt this hide, left wonderful logs, and awarded it so much love over the years. Watching the community interact with this gadget has been an absolute joy.
For now, the cache is being disabled to prevent further foot traffic while I safely retrieve the container. Thank you all for an amazing run and the super thoughtful messages. I'm so glad so many had fun with this one.
