A standard cache hiding in a far-from-standard location.
Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to locate a smallish ammo-can hidden in Honokane Nui valley.
To reach your destination, you will need to embark from Pololu Lookout at the end of the road in Kohala, hike down and across Pololu Valley, crossing the stream, then ascend up and across the next ridge to look down into Honokane Nui itself. Be warned that the trail ends partway down into Honokane Nui, and you'll need to lower yourself via ropes over two separate descents until you reach the bottom-most portion of the old trail. Upon reaching the bottom, navigate through the bamboo forest, follow the stream towards the ocean, then hike a short distance back towards the cache location.
WARNING: Be advised that this hike is not for the faint of heart. You most likely will get dirty, and portions of the trail are very uneven and/or skirt close to sheer drop-offs. Also, the ropes portion of the 2nd descent can be intimidating and physically demanding. Only proceed if you're confident in your ability to get back up. Trail conditions degrade very rapidly in the rain, so use your best judgement.
Lastly, do not be tempted to bypass the Pololu/Honokane Nui ridge by going around along the shorline - this has reportedly proven fatal in the past.
