Geocache Description:

Decon in a nice shady spot on your way up Perry Canyon. Kids (both old and young) may enjoy and take advantage of the recreational facilities installed here.

Few people know that Perry Canyon is the home of a group of swingers. Don't worry -- these swingers are the kid friendly variety. Perhaps you too would like to join the club?

This is an easy place for your hike to get behind schedule, and it's too close to the trailhead to make for a meaningful rest. But it might be a good chance to adjust your load before setting off in earnest. To get here, start from the Grizzly Peak Trailhead (look for the bear) near the Geneva Rock quarry on 3000 S, and follow the trail (foot/bike/horse) leading into the canyon. After about 0.2 mi, the trail splits -- stay north of the creek and stay on the trail. You'll know it when you've arrived. If approaching from the east where the 4x4 road crosses Three Mile Creek, find the trail on the north side of the creek where the road curves. If using off-road vehicles, please obey all posted notices about access and trespassing (as best as you can interpret them).

When you arrive, hand the GPSr to the youngest member of your party, helping if necessary to make sure they don't reach where they can't see. A glove or handkerchief may be helpful for those who dislike spider webs. Don't use the hint unless you really need it or to confirm the cache has gone missing.

FTF prize is an Eisenhower Silver Dollar. Have fun, and don't stay so long you forget where you were going!
