Mt.Hiei is located at the boundary between Shiga pref. and Kyoto pref.. It is famous as not only religious site of Buddhism but the recreation area of Kyoto people. In 20th century, there were ski resort and amusement park, it was crowed all season, especially the haunted house was very funny in summer season. Now, the amusement park have changed to garden musium, its nice place. Though the ski area became a lonely place after they had closed.
In addition, there are a lot of radio link stations broadcasting for kyoto city. The cache is placed in front of the police radio tower.
