The Old Piggeries Traditional Cache
mandied: This has been archived as I do not think replacing it will work. I'm sure as soon as I do that, someone will steal it again unfortunately.

This geocache is on a public footpath close to where the old piggeries used to be in Mattishall. I have started it off with a trackable and some of my handmade crochet flowers for the taking.
You can get to the footpath from Burgh Lane, through the St Peter's Mattishall Burgh church yard. Out the back and to the left of the church, which dates back to the 13th century, is a small gate, once you go through the gate you are on the footpath. There are other ways to get on the footpath which you can find on any local footpath map but I placed the cache using this route. You will encounter a stile but if you can't climb that the gate will open.
There are lovely views from the cache and you can see the main Mattishall church in the distance. This footpath/field is used by dog walkers. It's not suitable for wheelchair users and can be a bit muddy if there has been heavy rainful but nothing major. I called the cache The Old Piggeries for obvious reasons. One of the field nearby used to house the Old Piggeries.
