Emmas plass er bygdas fremste samlingssted. Her foregår en rekke ulike arrangementer året rundt. Plassen er oppkalt etter Emma Rønning, som drev Gjestvang Kafe (populært kalt Emma-kafeen) rett på andre siden av vegen i femti år (1935–1985).
