A few months back I published my first puzzle cache entitled the Lincoln Memorial which was about the American presidents, and had a Canadian version in the works A few weeks roll by, and another cacher (who shall remain nameless) published a very similar puzzle and in doing so, they called me out for my lack of "Canadianess". This hurt me so very much, as I am Chuck the CANUCK and very pro-Canadian. I love everything about Canada. The people, the senic Views and most of all the music!
Now, in honour of the up coming Canada day celebrations I present to you my very own tribute to Canadian Rock music, and once and for all put the nastiness of the past to rest! In all honestly this is less of a puzzle and more of a way to get people interested in Canadian rock music. I tried to keep things simple, and should not take long to do all the research. What you need to do is figure out the answers for question A-E and add them togther to get "Y". Then do the same for questions F -J to get "Z". Next add "Y" to the posted North coordinates. Then add "Z" to the posted West coordinates to get the final. Questions: According to Wikipedia there are 2 years listed as Canadian rocker Andy Kim's birth year, Subtract the earliest year from the latest year to get answer "A" Canadian rock icon's Rush Released an album in 1976, add all numbers in the title together to get answer "B" The Tragically Hip dominated radio airwaves in Canada throughout the 1990's, find the number of albums they released during thier career in Canada that reached #1 and add it to the number of Juno awards they have won as of 2011 to get answer "C" To find answer "D" you must find where Bryan Adams placed on Billboard hot 100 50th anniversary list? Answer "E" is the number of live albums the Guess Who have released Find the number of Juno awards April Wine have been nominated for and add that to the number they have won (according to the wikipedia page) to get answer "F" Knowing the number of studio albums Colin James has released will give you answer "G" How many members are currently with the band Helix? this number is answer "H" The key to Answer is "I" is subtracting the year Harem Scarem released their album of the same name by the year they released mood swings. In 1991 Greg Fraser (originally with the band Brighton Rock) joined the band Helix after Paul Hackman was killed in a bus accident. The number of years he was with helix is the answer to Question "J" Good luck and happy Canada Day.
