Yessiree, times used to be this was a regular boom town. Folks bustling this way and that trying to get their hands on a piece of merchandise, outfitting themselves with everything from hats down to boots and everything in between. I heard tell it was the 27th largest general store in this fine nation, with a fancy salloon and even one of those new-fangled nickelodeons. But the vein ran dry. Nowadays it's just an urban ghost town. Even the mine is all walled up. Welp, guess times move on and something else will crop up. There's always someone willing to peddle snake oil on an empty stake. Me, well I guess I'll hide the last of my gold nuggets in this forsaken corner and shuffle along before the vultures start to circle.
