I was in the area working on Poker70's "Big Brother, Little Brother" series, and remembered that my Great Grandmother was buried down here. I had stopped by to visit the last time I was caching down this way, and this time I brought a container since I remembered the area was lacking a cache.
I couldn't find much information on-line about the cemetery, but here's what I could find:
Located in Miller Township, LaSalle County, Illinois, along County Road E27th. Current State: Active. Earliest Burial Record: May 28th, 1857. Number of Burial's Recorded: 466. Latest Burial Recorded: June 16th, 1988.
Just another small addition to the Illinois Spirit Quest Series, and make sure to say Hi! to Nana while you're here! The cache is a pill bottle covered with natural camo. Please rehide as good or better than found.
Please be respectful, and do not hunt this cache when the cemetery is closed, or if there are services occurring. In occordance with guidelines, this cache is placed on the cemetery perimeter, and is not near any graves.
