Harold Park Paceway was demolished in early 2012 to make way for a new suburb. There will be 1200 apartments built in 6 Precincts, a retail sector and 10 acres of public park and cycleways.
Each geocacher is asked to take a photo from the Reference Point "GC3P9XHRP" S33 52.826 E151 10.743 and post it with your log entry.. It's on Cliff Terrace just above the cache. Don't try and climb there, walk around (not mandatory to log a find).
When the new suburb is complete I will do some sort of morphing animation video with the photos collected. It may be a spectacular video. (or maybe not :) )
(I'm not fussed if you wish to find more than once (maybe 3 months inbetween.)
ps. Has anyone got a mid-demoltion photo? It was quite spectacular because they just pushed the grandstand over. Thank you to everyone who participated in this experiment.
The project was completed somewhere around 2016 based on the photos so there's no need to send any more photos of the completed buildings. (You are still welcome to)
