Jan. 20115: This one may need some help. We would appreciate it if you bring a replacement cache. Thanks. The Jalabun is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Golan.
It takes 20 - 30 minutes to hike down to the falls. Make sure you take plenty of water, hat and sun screen. Also take a bathing suit. The pool under the waterfall is deep and very very cold. For good swimmers only. Go in slowly and get use to the cold water. Take a picnic with you and enjoy this beautiful place. Hike back up is quite steep - so take a good rest before you walk back up. Best to come here either early morning or late afternoon in the summer. Enjoy.
The cache is hidden on the trail half way to the waterfall. You can easily find the cache on the trail. No need to look on the ravine side of the trail which is dangerous.
