A wonderful trip for birdwatching...or hearing at the very least.
This is an open area in my neighborhood behind a set of townhouses that has a small area of woods. Over time residents have made trails through and there is some areas where birds get together. I have seen at least 25 species in this area. There is also a wide selection of trees for identification and a plentiful supply of quartz rocks sticking out of the ground. So there is something for any type of budding naturalist.
Parking is available at the posted waypoint on the street then enter the common area behind the townhomes. There are a few different path entrances so pick wisely. The cache is only slightly off the path.
Not too many muggles except a few residents who walk there dogs, mostly in the early morning and late evening. Although bringing your pet could be your cover. There is a walkable path, but it is a little steep so not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers.
You are looking of a camo container that is about the size of a frosting container for cakes.
