Geocache Description:

A nice short walk along a new path in a newer developed area of Langley

You are looking for a small lockNlock plastic container which is 1 meter off the path beside a stump with ivy growing around it. It is on the ground under the rock ledge.

This cache has a Christmas theme to it, enclosed in the container you will find a Christmas stamp that you can use as part of the letterbox.

I invite you to write a Christmas letter to Santa when you post your log

To find the stamp start at the parking location and head North till you are informed to stop.

At this location you will see some mailboxes count how many you see here and make note of them because you may want to drop a letter to Santa.
Near by is a structure that has a fountain attached to it. Have a drink to quench your thirst.

Beside this structure is a playground with some really cool play equipment. If you have kids I suggest you let them try out the equipment before you continue.

Continue past the playground and equipment until you find another set of mailboxes. Make note of them and count how many there are here.
Now head down the path past these mailboxes until the asphalt path turns to the North Pole and the asphalt turns into gravel.

Continue to the North Pole, while on your way you will pass a large collection of roots and a few trees that are right on the edge of the path, from here you are getting close.

Continue some more on the path until you find a short log on the edge of the path with an ivy covered stump very close.
Once you have found this ivy covered stump you have found ground zero.

However the container is not in the stump (so leave the ivy alone), the container is under a rock on the ground that has a cavity under it.
You can get the container without having to move the rock or anything else except perhaps some leaves.

You know that you have gone too far when the path turns to the East.

Enjoy and Merry Christmas!
