Ah me hartys, here is me treasure, hidden on this island til the tides of death do pass. You be needing to solve me puzzle if you want to find me treasure.
Give it a try ya land lubbers, but be warned there be ghosts upon these shores.
Finding me treasure carries some risks,
Be prepared and use me list:
Sturdy pirate boots, torch, camera, waterproof trousers, pen or pencil, pirate ship, parrot, gold doubloons (for swaps).
Your journey begins wherever you choose,
From land or sea, you may win or lose.
Head for the hills but not too far,
First you'll need me treasure map, Ah.
At Cutlass Cottage record me map,
With a photo front and back.
50 strides south stands a tree
Which holds an eye looking at thee.
100 paces to the west
You're almost at me treasure chest.
Dont forget to write your name
In the log - it's always the same.
Take some treasure but leave some too,
It's not a game just for you.
To add to the challenge, send to us
Photos of the map and chest you must.
If the map you cannot see
Look up and turn over thee.
The code apparent will suffice
As proof, or you'll pay the price
Pirates do as pirates say,
You'll walk the plank for foul play.
