This is a Challenge cache - the cache IS at the published co-ordinates but you will need to fulfil the requirements of the challenge before logging a find.
This is a simple challenge to encourage people to find caches that haven't been found in a long time.
In order to qualify, you need to find an active cache (one that isn't archived) that hasn't been found by anyone else for 6 months or more. Hopefully this challenge will encourage cachers to go off the beaten track and find those caches that rarely get a visit.
Past finds count towards this challenge cache. If the qualifying cache has subsequently been archived, that's OK, as long as it was active on the date you found it.
If you go and find this challenge cache as a team, every single member must have met the criteria in order to claim a find, otherwise please just write a note.
When logging your find, please give the GC code and relevant dates of the cache you have 'resuscitated'. Logs that do not meet the criteria will be deleted.
This challenge cache is named after similar 'resuscitator' challenges in other parts of the country. The normal time period for these challenges is 1 year, but I thought I'd make it a bit easier by changing the qualifying time period to 6 months for this challenge.
You can park at either N50 44.493 W002 05.259 or N50 44.429 W002 05.269. Although this is a cache and dash, there is a short muddy path, so wellies would be a good idea. Please place the cache back as found, tucked under and covered with bark. Good luck!
