Geocache Description:

**NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES**

Note to those new to Geocaching Puzzles: Geocaching Puzzles require you to determine the cache's coordinates somehow by decoding, finding, calculating, etc. the numbers using the information on the cache page. Check out Puzzle Solving 101 by Salsman, but it won't help here :)

One of Rochester's Finest Geocachers, salsman finished his first 5K on July 20th, 2012! Five thousand geocaches! Stop and think for a minute just how many that is...(!)

Salsman is a bit of a puzzler...both a creator and master solver, so I figured a puzzle to mark his achievement was appropriate . Congratulations Mr. S...and here's to your next 5K, running around...and finding geocaches!

  • N 44° 0n.nnn
  • W 092° 29.www

North: Salsman has been busy over the years finding caches. How many miles has he traveled for his first 5K?

West: Salsman first find was Under Par . What month, day & year did he join the caching community? (you're looking for three non-zero digits here)

Original Contents:

  • Cache Prize...er, Cash!
  • Five Golden Pennies
  • Clay Bead
  • Love Token
  • Bison Tube

Remember: 'Trade even' or 'trade up' to keep it fun for everyone, but if you see something you'd really like, go ahead and take it and pay the sport back later.
