Fence Line Duty Traditional Cache
cflute: A few cachers have sent notes telling me about the “No Tresspassing” and “Keep out” signs that have recently been put in the area. A car dealership is now using that part of the land so before anyone gets arrested for attempting to steal a car to put in a geocache, I will archive this one. I am not removing the container so if someone still wants to go to this cache they certainly can.

This one is a salute to Team DoubleTap and all his old friends from the Marine Corps. When he was a teenager in the Marines, the new guy always had to "walk the fence line". A walking patrol that kept him roaming all night along a fence line to watch out for intruders while we guarded the Station.
Anyway, he always wanted to put a micro inside a chain link fence. That's a good hint, It's inside the fence, not hanging on it. This is a cool little dirt frontage road along the highway that takes you right to a huge billboard. Public land, walking trail and there are not any sort of Trespassing signs.
I advise parking at the Dunkin Donuts at 102 Daniel Webster Highway in Nashua N.H. 03062 and walk up the lot to find the small road that goes up behind the Lexus Dealer next to the Dunks. I drove my huge pickup truck all the way to the billboard but I do not advise driving the road at all. It's very tight with no real turnaround at the end. If you have a small car, you could drive to the halfway point just when the paved road ends. There's a good spot to park and turn around there, but the road is pretty choked with branches that want to scratch your car so do it at your own risk.
Leave the paved road, get yourself under the billboard. The fence takes a sharp corner and is broken. I replaced the cap at the corner and left a surprise under the new cap. Use pictures for hints if you need them but I've already rolled out the red carpet here in the description. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REACH THIS CACHE BY PARKING ON THE HIGHWAY. IT'S ILLEGAL AND YOU WILL NOT MAKE IT OVER FENCES AND A DITCH ANYWAY. APPROACH FROM DANIEL WEBSTER HIGHWAY. SOME PEOPLE ARE CONFUSED TODAY ABOUT WHERE THE LOG IS: THERE IS A CLIP ON THE END OF THE ROPE - THIS IS SIMPLY MEANT FOR YOU TO HANG SWAG ITEMS ON. THE LOG IS INSIDE THE CONTAINER THAT THE STRING IS TIED TO. THE STRING IS THERE BECAUSE IT IS TIED TO A LOOP ON A CONTAINER INSIDE THE CAP. YOU SIMPLY UNSCREW THIS CONTAINER AND PULL OUT THE LOG.
