This cache will take you through a very tall second growth forest. It is about one mile each way if you walk or ride a bike from the Park entrance ( see parking coordinates).
No Discovery Pass is needed if you park at the area just before the park gate on the road, if you have a Discovery pass you could drive into the park but the hike to the cache might be longer. Bikes are allowed on only certain trails in the park, from the parking area, go 0.12 miles up the road to the trailhead and if on a bike stay on the Old Fort Townsend Lane, if you are walking you can take either the Old Fort Townsend Lane or the Rhody Loop trail, which makes an interesting round trip. The actual hide is not inside the park
although to get to it you must use these trails. Do not try to come from the Kala Point side. You are
seeking a small camoed Tupperware container. Happy Hiking
