After completing the Dam 3 Challenge (D3), I got interested in dams in Washington State and ended up doing some dam research. Did you know that Washington State has over 800 dams? These dams range from flood and flow control to hydroelectric producers. Washington also has the largest hydroelectric producing dam in the country which is the Grand Coulee Dam. In 2011, Washington State was the leading producer of electricity from hydroelectric sources and produced 29% of the country’s net electricity generation.
Enough of the stats, lets get down to the puzzle. This cache is obviously about dams in Washington State. The final cache coordinates are:
