Dimensions Framed: 35 ¼ x 41 ¾ in.

Georges Seurat is known for creating images using only tiny dots of color in subtly differentiated shades. He knew that your eyes would blend the colors together to perceive a cohesive image of a beach. He didn’t end the technique at the edges of the canvas. He even dotted the frame in complimentary colors to set off the painting. See thousands of dots in the original work of art
