SPACE2081 [2.0/3.5] Captain's Log Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

This Cache:

Captain's log, stardate 2012-2.0-3.5 We are in hot pursuit of every combination of difficulty and terrain geocache there is. While it is a difficult task, I am confident that with our mighty starship and the support of the crew, we will be up for the challenge. Our current mission has taken us to a galaxy sector under the rule of Queen Anne, the Benevolent. It is rumored that there is an outpost here called Thiokol where we can acquire rocket fuel while we search for the geocache. Our ship has landed in an area with the appearance of an earth baseball field. Scanners tell us the atmosphere is breathable. We will soon deploy a search party for further exploration...

Enter the woods by right field foul pole. The cache can be found mostly following trails. There are some hills and rocky terrain. There may be a stream crossing and a fence to navigate, but there are ways through. The fence was left over from when the property was owned by Thiokol, a chemical company that made parts for rockets! Have fun and no cheating!

This Series:

This cache is part of the SPACE 2081: A Geocaching Odyssey challenge.

This challenge contains one cache of each difficulty and terrain combination, plus a final cache which can be found only after finding all 81 caches that are part of the series. Each of those 81 caches will contain a code, which you will use as part of the puzzle to solve the FINAL CACHE.

All the members of the space team are actual cachers who are remaining anonymous for the moment. You can find more info on the series, as well as a complete list of released caches HERE. Please do not post hints or spoilers in your logs. Also, each cache must be signed by any individual cachers going for the final.

Good luck, may the force be with you, live long and prosper.
