Geocache Description:

Debbie and I were trying to think of a cool suburban series that we could put out that was not only easy to get to/find, but had memories, not only for us but for many who may have grown up in the El Paso area.  We hit on what we think was a cool idea, hence this series was born.

Thinking we remembered where this set of theaters had been located, we drove there only to find out that the address given didn't match where we were.  We did some more studying, returned to the address, and drove a complete circle around the area looking for any telltale sign that a 3 screen theater had been here, without any success.  We decided on a GZ and placed the cache.  If anyone knows anything about the exact whereabouts, please let us know.
The theater opened in 1969, and closed due to fire in 1994.  What was cool about this theater was if you didn't like the movie you were watching, you could always look over and perhaps see, but not hear a more interesting one on another screen.  This theater seemed so far out there to drive to from northeast, that you made sure you had a full tank of gas before making the trip.
Feel free to list what movie(s) you might have seen here that stuck in your mind.
So get the popcorn, sodas, milk duds and pillows for the little ones, and head out to the movies, and BYOP.  To be continued.
