Geocache Description:

Debbie and I were trying to think of a cool suburban series that we could put out that was not only easy to get to/find, but had memories, not only for us but for many who may have grown up in the El Paso area.  We hit on what we think was a cool idea, hence this series was born.

As we approached the area this theater had been located, it became apparent, hiding a cache was going to be very difficult.  It is a swap meet now, and not limited to the weekends.  There were muggles everywhere, and we could not place the cache at the most apparent place.  We drove around a bit, and settled on a location a bit west of the theater.  At GZ, if you face east, southeast, you would be facing the theater.
The Bronco opened in 1950, and closed in 1975.  One thing that always stood out was the gigantic horse's head on top of the screen, which is now located in front of the swap meet location.  Feel free to list what movie(s) you might have seen here that stuck in your mind.
So get the popcorn, sodas, milk duds and pillows for the little ones and head out to the movies.  Watch for muggles, and BYOP.  To be continued....
