Zoals ik in mijn vorige berichtje al aangaf, is de situatie hier nogal ingrijpend veranderd.
Deze locatie is niet echt geschikt meer om een geocache te plaatsen. Dus is het na acht jaar nu intussen wel mooi geweest.

Het gebied Woensel-Noord is ingedeeld in vier wijken en 21 buurten.

Woenselse Heide is een buurt in de wijk Aanschot, in het stadsdeel Woensel-Noord in de Nederlandse stad Eindhoven.

De naam verwijst naar de Woenselse Heide die vroeger tussen Eindhoven en Best lag. Het was een langgestrekt gebied dat vele malen groter was dan de huidige buurt. De buurt is medio jaren 60 van de 20e eeuw ontwikkeld en bestaat voornamelijk uit laagbouw.

The area Woensel-Noord is divided into four districts and 21 neighborhoods.
Woenselse Heide is a neighborhood in the District of Aanschot, in the city part Woensel-Noord in the Dutch city of Eindhoven.

The name refers to the moor of Woensel which was situated between Eindhoven and Best. It was a sizeable area that was many times greater than the current neighborhood. The neighborhood was developed in the mid-sixties of the 20th century and consists mainly of low-rise constructions and housing.
