Geocache Description:

You are looking for a small container that contains only a log. Please bring your own writing tool. You also may need a tweezers or tiny tool to help extract the log. Please be careful of broken glass. Some uncaring vandals have broken a few of the second story windows.

This cache brings you to the no longer occupied Butlerville High School which was built in 1904. As best as I can gather from a short research, this high school was consolidated into North Vernon High School in 1950. Until that time, they were known as the Butlerville Bulldogs with school colors of red and white. Check out the sad pictures of the neglected school and the neglected Butlerville Elementary School. The bottom floor of this High School contained the gym, which the neighboring schools of Zenas and San Jacinto also used to play their basketball games.
