Team Molino adopted this cache from our friends n0psp in June 2013. We thank n0psp for the information provided below. The cache had been lost so we moved it to a new nearby location and made it part of a small series taking you through this derelict site.

Trampolin Hills, una de las mayores estafas inmobiliarias españolas










Trampolin hills golf resort constituye uno de los entornos más bellos de la región de Murcia. Trampolin hills golf resort e 18 hoyos con servicios como vestuario, duchas, restaurante, minicars, etc, ha conseguido consolidarse como uno de los campos más dinámicos y atractivos de la región. Jugar al golf en Trampolin hills golf resort es a día de hoy sinónimo de prestigio y bien estar. Viviendas colmadas de detalles y pensadas para lograr ese pequeño paraiso que usted y su familia se merecen. Mas de 2000 apartamentos de lujo, áticos con jacuzzi y villas con parcelas individuales de 400 m2. Hotel, restaurante y centros comerciales.

Así se anunciaba la que en realidad se convirtió en una de las mayores estafas inmobiliarias de la Región Murciana y no de los ejemplos de hasta donde llego la burbuja inmobiliaria española.
Un grupo de empresarios encabezados por el conocido como "el melonero" (por haberse dedicado anteriormente a la venta de fruta ambulante) cobraron diversas cantidades de entre 6000 y 130000 euros a muchas familias que adquieran una vivienda que nunca se llegaron a construir.

En la actualidad de aquel proyecto solo quedan las que fueron las oficinas de la empresa y los pisos piloto, así como unas pocas obras de
preparación del terreno. Todo el material de valor desde mobiliario al más mínimo objeto metálico fue sustraído, quedando únicamente las
construcciones.

Trampolin Hills: one of the biggest real estate scams in Spain
In 2004 a group of entrepreneurs began the process to build a golf resort in the Murcian town of Campos del Rio: 2,570 homes ranging from small apartments to villas of 160 square meters would cost just over 120,000 euros. All surrounded by 290,000 square meters of recreational areas including golf course, gardens, swimming pools, shopping centers. 1,700 families in Spain and even the UK and Ireland paid different amounts as reserves and advancement of their apartments.
Today, this idyllic setting was never built. Instead there is a huge site with a few apartments and offices now abandoned after Trampoline Hills declared bankruptcy.

Team Molino has plans for a large number of caches this side of Murcia and the Ricote Valley to create a giant loop around the area. At the moment there are very few caches along the RM-15 and B-15 routes so we will gradually be creating a better reason to cache in this area.

This is a small plastic cache placed along the track through the Trampolin Hills Golf Resort and needs a good squeeze to pop it open. The cache holds a logbook and a few small items for swap along with a sharpener and IKEA pencil - Thank you IKEA :-)
