Alloa and Cambus stations were closed in 1968. In 2008 Alloa station was reopened with the first passenger trains service to Clacks for 40 years. There are now direct services to both Glasgow and Edinburgh. This cache is near the reopened railway line.
This is my first cache as CO. It was going to be placed on the new cycle path north of Cambus but I was beaten to the punch by Claxons so I've put it further to the West near the Blackgrange level crossing.
Please be careful as this road can be busy and has quite heavy lorry traffic going to and from the Blackgrange Diageo plant.
