Geocache Description:

This geocache was created for students of UConn's Natural Resources Conservation Academy (NRCA) to learn how to use handheld GPS units while exploring the University of Connecticut campus. The NRCA brings together high school students from around the state for a one-week natural resources field camp at UConn. This cache is located on public land has been placed with permission of authorized university personnel.

At the start of a nice walk over horsebarn hill with views of the UConn Forest and Eastern Connecticut. Also nearby is the UConn Dairy Bar. Don't miss this yummy ice cream!
