Geocache Description:

Another roadside cache, our second in the animal kingdom caches to be placed by the geokids.

Lower Hermitage is a world renowned butterfly breeding area. At the site of this cache we have a kaleidoscope of the rare hermitageous bigus butterfly (noted for its large size). If you are lucky you may find the mother butterfly guarding her cocoon, or even some of the young butterflies that have already hatched.

The cache is not exactly at the posted location, but it is very close, just follow the butterflies. Note, the butterflies you are following are the extremely rare silverous hideous butterfly whom have evolved over time to develop a unique camouflage technique in this galvanic world.

Warning: Whilst Lower Hermitage Rd looks like a quite country road, please be careful getting to the cache as the locals do like to drive fast along this road and the bridge is narrow!
