A beautiful walk along Kingfisher Reserve finds you at 2 beautiful old historical trees.Hence the name of this cache.the birdlife and running water in the creek is so refreshing to hear and the old trees and homestead closeby take you to the past.
New wetland areas are just spectacular as well on other side of the creek.
By the time you reach this cache ,you hopefully have walked by the beautiful [Mulberry and Fig trees]back along the path heading sth. Unfortunately am unable to locate the exact date of their planting but believe to be over 100 years old.
when these trees are in fruit it is a beautiful place to sit and view.
The fruit is picked by walkers going by.
I originally wanted to place a cache between the 2 trees but another cacher had already applied to place one closeby. Decided to use the name all the same as it would have been my first cache hide and loved the name. As this is on a walking trail please beware of muggles going byThe paths in this area along this side of creek are not paved and maybe slippery.The cache is a small clip lock container.
