Geocache Description:

A simple geocache down a peaceful path leading off the platypus trail

This is my first hide!  It is hidden in my favourite bushland reserve.  Named after the Bidjigal people (indigenous to this area prior to European settlement), the reserve is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna.  The area is managed by the Bidjigal Reserve Trust who dedicate it for public recreation, as well as preservation of the bush and aboriginal culture.  There are many walking tracks around the reserve and the cache is hidden along one of them.
The cache is placed with the permission of trust and they ask that you stick to the paths as much as possible.  There is a map, which will help you to do this!  Dogs need to be kept on a lead.  The trust are always looking for volunteers and you can put your name forward at their website.  Specifically, they wondered if anyone would be able to help with mapping of the paths?

The cache is placed not far off a nice little path so no real bush bashing is required.  The terrain is graded for the last few meters, but is otherwise a T2.  You can see GZ from the path, and if you are careful, you'll be able to pick your way there without damaging any flora!  It is a 1 litre sistema container with an assortment of swaps. There is prezzie tucked into the logbook for the FTF…Enjoy!
