Geocache Description:

This cache is located close to Iford Weir. It's a nice little spot by the side of the River Stour and you can often see Swans, a Heron and other widlife around whilst walking along the river side.

The cache is located near to deep fast flowing water so care should be taken if going with young children. Access should be suitable for wheelchairs, however the ground is uneven and grassy in places so help maybe required. Help retrieving the cache will also be necessary. Parking shown allow you to walk along the river by crossing the road bridge, following the gravel / dirt path alongside the river. Then there is a little walk through the golf course following the grassy path. Nicky and I often go on a nice sunny evening. You can take in some other caches whilst in the area (some of them quite challenging). Good place to take the dog if you fancy... If you just want a quick dash and cache then suggest parking at Tesco and cutting across the fields...
