Closed Road Creek Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Andalusite: This cache has been disabled for some time and as the owner has not repaired/replaced it, I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to email me please send your email via my profile (click on my name) and quote the cache name and number.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located on what was previously the road to Cross Inn before the A473 "Cross Inn Bypass" opened in the early 1990s.
When my wife and I lived in Cross Inn during the 1990s we would walk this road to and from Mywndy (meaning the nearby pubs) and in the dark there is a healthy bat population which comes out to play, which can be entertaining.

Although it is now a no-through-road as far as traffic is concerned, you can drive to the cache and park. Walkers and cyclists can still pass through unhindered.
The cache itself is in a disguised container and you will need your own pen/pencil. It is reasonably well hidden behind a man-made feature.
The occassional dog-walking muggle uses this road so you may need to be discrete.
(NB - name of cache changed 3/7/2012)
