Geocache Description:

Seventh cache in the Wotton Wander series. Follow them in order and it will take you on a 'W' shaped tour of the town (including one of my other caches Holywell Hideaway)

Near to this magnetic cache is probably Wotton’s most notorious building – The Ram Inn. It is reputedly the most haunted building in Britain and has been the subject of a number of TV programmes and ghost hunting investigations. You will note that at one end of the building it stated that it is a 10th century Inn. However this is incorrect and up to a couple of years ago it actually said 13th century. This was changed when the American TV show ‘Most Haunted’ visited (check out the video on youtube). Just up the road is Moore hall – also the site of a haunting. Pick up the ‘Millenium trail’ book from the heritage centre to find out more.
