Canada Day Memories Traditional Cache
RTPanther: Seems the container has gone missing for the second time. It's unfortunate that there are people who try to ruin this fun family game for everyone. I chose this location for my first hide as a tribute to my childhood memories of watching the Canada Day fireworks. I've had a hard time finding the exact details on the year that the City of Moncton stopped having the fireworks launched from the Centenial Park Island. If you have any info about When and Why you think they moved the fireworks display to Downtown Moncton please include it in your log!
Our annual Canada Day Fireworks display that we now enjoy Downtown costs $20,000 including taxes, as per the City of Moncton. The cost is divided equally between 4 partners - City of Moncton, City of Dieppe, Town of Riverview and Crystal Palace. The budget has been at $20,000 for about 4yrs now.
As a FTF prize, I have left a Geocoin that wishes to travel from cache to cache.
Also included in the cache are: Logbook, Canadian Pen(Please leave in cache), and some Canada themed traders. Please be very careful of muggles and be sure to replace the cache exactly as found so it stays in it's place.
