The LIGHT HOUSE Traditional Cache
JACKB52: Even thought this has been a great geocache and enjoyed by many, it has had to be replaces many times. I am moving and will not be available to maintain it in the near future. I am forced to archive it.

Cache is located on the shore near the Ballycurrin Light house. This is the only inland lighthouse in Ireland and possibly all of Europe. The local legend says it was originally built (1800) by the lady of the manor to guide her husband home after a night at the pub across the lake. There may have been more practical reasons for the light house but we prefer the local legend.
The cache is a small clear plastic snap box with log, pencil & sharpener, some unique items, and button/pin. The road to the shore is not on your standard map but is marked by sign Ballycurrin House and an arrow, way point provided. Just follow the road to the beach past Ballycurrin House and other diveways along the road. Will need to watch out for muggles swimming, fishing, kayaking, and other assorted activities. Hide completely and watch for muggles, I have had to replace cache (4 times) when it went missing. NOTE: DO NOT LEAVE TRAVEL BUGS OR OTHER TRACKABLE ITEMS.
