PG Pinecone 4 Traditional Cache
J5oL: Who would have guessed that a young healthy looking sapling would die and fall over. Looked and looked for my micro to no avail, going to archive this cache so others can try their luck.

Placed with a friend who is new to the whole cacheing game decided to let him help me find a good spot for this, placed on a older lesser used trail in a neat spot, minor bush wacking required, also if it just rained there may be a large puddle to cross. Container is a well camouflaged bison tube, only has log in it. BYOP. Cache is within 10 - 12 meters.
The Pidherny Recreational Area is a wonderful jewel in our city, an area for quads and dirt bikes, freeride and cross country bicycles , dog walkers and joggers to get out and play in our northern wilderness. The main area can be acessed from many directions but two of the easiest are at the end of Pidherny Rd. off North Nechako Rd. or from the Foothills Land Fill entrance, the latter of the two requires caution as it is an active industrial road. Once in the area keep an eye out for all the animals in the area, I have been lucky enough to see many eagles a few grey owls as well as various other birds and the standard woodland rodents and reptiles, though I have heard bears moose and deer can also be seen.
