Cache is a screw top container with smaller one inside with a waterproof log only ...BYO pen. Please place rock on top and some litter ... to keep the WEKA out. There was a weka poking around whilst I was looking for a hiding place for this Cache. I am sure he and his mates will keep an eye on it for me. Take a walk to other caches along this walkway
The Cape Foulwind Walkway is a 3.4k well maintained track from the Lighthouse at Cape Foulwind to Tauranga Bay. It crosses over undulating farm, and along the edge of a scenic coastal escarpment. The main attraction is the seal colony at Tauranga Bay. Average walking time in approx 1.5hr one way. WARNING; There are exposed sections along the walkway. PLEASE keep children by you at all times.
